Default Open Water in CT

We're just starting to get some open water here in CT. It won't be long before we're fishing the open water again. You can just feel that spring is right around the corner. We're expecting temperatures in the 50's this weekend. Might give us our first chance to get out there. I was wondering what the weather/water is like in everyone's neighborhood?

We have been 10-15 degrees above normal (upper 30's) here in Northern MN. Still 2'-3' of ice and plenty of snow though. 43 days until we start chasing suckers on the rivers! Planning on hook'n some crappies this weekend.

Finally some nice weather. Planning to do some crappie fishing at a local reservoir this weekend. I will hopefully have a good video to post after a good meal of crappie.

Default weather

Yeah the weather is still a little chilli for fishing here in California. I had to wear a tee shirt the other day with shorts. It was too brisk for my speedos and no shirt, It was about 80 deg.
