We had the pleasure of fishing the the Erie Darter made by Poor Boy's Baits. You can check out their website at www.poorboysbaits.com. This is a very unique plastic worm that we really enjoyed fishing! It's similar to a french fry worm in that it has ruffled edges down both sides. It also has a little paddle tail that gives it some very unique action. The ruffled edges along with the paddle tail really help this bait move and vibrate more water than your typical worm. We fished them carolina and texas rigged. They can also be fish dropped-shot and have enough weight to throw weightless. We landed some very nice fish in late fall in CT, which can be very challenging as many of you know. These plastics produce fish, that's for sure. They have a great selection of colors and some other great lines of darters and other hand poured baits. They are salt impregnated, which is also a plus. We'd recommend these baits to anyone angler. I'll be buying some for my own personal use I liked them so much. Here's a video of the Erie Darter in action!
